Broiled Red Grapefruit with Pomegranate Syrup
Broiling grapefruit slices transforms them completely. Warm and caramelized, and dressed in a jewel-like pomegranate sauce, you will barely recognize them.

DIRECTIONS
Combine juice and SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener in small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes or until reduced to 1/3 cup. Cool at room temperature.
Preheat broiler with rack about 4 inches from heat.
Arrange grapefruit slices in single layer in large baking dish. Sprinkle with SPLENDA® Sugar Blend.
Broil grapefruit slices 8 minutes or until fruit is flecked with brown.
Arrange on serving platter or individual plates and drizzle with pomegranate syrup.
NOTE
Variation: Serve Pomegranate Syrup over sectioned grapefruit halves instead of slices. Broil as directed above.

- 2 red grapefruits, peeled, white pith removed, and each cut into 4 to 6 round slices
