DIRECTIONS

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8X8 inch baking dish. Set aside.

  2. PLACE all topping ingredients except butter into a bowl. Stir to mix. With fingertips, squeeze butter into flour mixture to form small, moist crumbs. Set topping aside.

  3. ADD all filling ingredients into a large bowl. Gently toss fruit. Transfer to prepared baking dish.

  4. TOP with prepared topping.

  5. BAKE for 50-60 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.

  • 1/2 cup butter, chopped

  • 5 unripe pears, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Juice from 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
